We were subjected to the droning liberal conspiracy theory that Donald Trump was not legitimately elected president due to interference by a foreign power, to whit, Vladimir Putin’s Russia and that, as such, Donald Trump had “colluded” with or spied for Russia.

This was the crux of the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory that sought to de-legitimize the Trump presidency by means of impeachment.

We now have the theory, which began on Election Eve 2020, that the election was stolen from Trump by means of a concerted effort on the part of various fraudsters operating at various levels within the 6 contested states.

Which theory is more legitimate?

On the surface, the Trump-Russia theory would seem to be more legitimate due to the attention it received by the establishment. Tens of Thousands of hours worth billions of dollars of Network TV, Cable TV, Radio, Print and commentary were devoted to examining every minute permutation and scintilla of that theory in a steady 24 hour daily news-cycle that continued unabated for the better part of 3 years. Indeed, I remember the regular “breaking news alerts” sent out by the Boston Globe which would show up on my smart-phone.

In contrast, the election steal theory, with its forensic audit in Maricopa County AZ, approved by and financed by the Arizona State Senate, its video of ballot-stuffing in Fulton County GA, its white vans showing up in Detroit with 100% Biden ballots, its thousands of affidavits testifying to fraud, gets virtually no attention at all as by merely mention this theory a media commentator runs the risk of being purged. What little that is mentioned is done so in a context of scorn and is accompanied by shrill accusations that such a theory is a lie and is “damaging to democracy.”

Trump-Russia got a full-scale official investigation by a special prosecutor, Robert Mueller. Over a 3 year run, Mueller and his brown-shirts hauled off several old men to prison for crimes that had nothing to do with what they were supposed to be investigating. They used strong-arm tactics, reminiscent of, dare I suggest, Putin’s Russia, to get people to lie in order to save their own skin. While none of this works as, after spending 35 million taxpayer dollars and conducting an international which-hunt, they were forced to conclude that Trump-Russia was a hoax.

Yet the media continued to claim that Trump obstructed justice because he had the nerve to question Saint Mueller. This reminds me of similar claims lodged against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh when he appeared to be upset over public charges that he was a gang-rapist of that he did not exactly describe a passage in his high-school yearbook.

While the Trump-Russia crackpot conspiracy theory proved to be a load of crap, the propaganda campaign was able to slow down the incredible successes the Trump Administration mounted.

Is it not at least plausible that the same mastermind who cooked up Trump-Russia, and the same media that loyally goose-stepped in formation thorough the Trump years in terms of promoting those lies, would not conspire, at least informally, to take Trump out in 2020? Even a cursory examination of the irrational energy that processed the average unwitting Trump hater, combined with a fully witting establishment with their internationalists and multi-billionaires, would lead to the conclusion that this was entirely rational.
